Director of Nursing for Ambulatory Care, SBH Health System: Bronx

The Director of Nursing for Ambulatory Care provides administrative oversight and assistance to the Senior Ambulatory Care Administration in the development, organization, implementation and evaluation of Clinic Operations in accordance with ambulatory care transformation goals, establishment of team based care, and accepted best practices across ambulatory care disciplines. This includes being a member of the Ambulatory Care Quality and Performance Improvement Committee and as appropriate providing oversight and leadership to quality improvement initiatives, providing personnel oversight, establishing competency and performance standards and ensuring that educational needs of staff are available to ensure that they acquire and sustain required skill and competency requirements.  The Director is responsible for the safety and quality of patient care and promotes a patient centered culture that is committed to providing an excellent patient experience with each encounter. This is a high profile, Leadership position in Ambulatory Care reporting to the VP of Ambulatory Care and Practice Innovations, under the auspices of the SVP for Ambulatory Care and Population health.

Graduate of accredited School of Nursing

Current licensure by New York State Board of Nursing

BSN /Masters Preferred

Previous charge nurse/management experience preferred

Current BLS
