NYONL 2024 Lobby Day - May 7th

The NYONL Public Policy Committee invites NYONL members to join colleagues on May 7th at the State Capitol. We will visit key State Senators and Assembly Members, to educate them and urge them to support NYONL's current legislative priorities: scope of practice/regulatory relaxation; workforce enhancement; and the healthcare worker pipeline. We are looking for members from hospitals, nursing homes, home care agencies and academia from all areas of the state.  The number of attendees is limited, so register soon! 

Before you register please note:

1.  There is no fee to attend, but registration is required and is open to NYONL members only.   The number of attendees from each facility should be limited to   two.

2.  Once you register it is important that you commit to attending. The registrants will determine the legislative meetings that are scheduled.

3.  Attendance at a pre-lobby day preparation webinar will be required of all attendees.  It will include our priorities, opinions and asks.
