All About Advocacy - NYONEL Fall Conference

Dr. Pamela Cipriano, Immediate Past President, American Nurses Association, will deliver the keynote, that will be followed by a mix of plenary and breakout sessions on a wide range of topics.  Included will be addresses by Dr. Robyn Begley, CEO of AONL (formerly AONE), Jim Clancy, Senior VP Government Affairs at the Healthcare Association of New York State (HANYS) and Dr. Marilyn Dollinger, Executive Associate Dean of the Wegmans School of Nursing at St. John Fisher College.  Breakouts will feature the role and efficacy of lobbyists, as well as successful nurse-led advocacy efforts that have improved the health of communities and preserved and improved patient safety and quality in various care settings.

On Sunday evening, October 20, NYONEL will host a celebratory event to recognize our designation as the 2019 AONE Affiliate of the year.
